Had the chance to work on an upcoming weight loss competition website. You know, I might have a decent metabolism—but I’m starting to reevaluate my McDouble diet :P

And here’s the spot I animated for the competition:

Already I’m finding awesome opportunities at Life Time! This week I had the chance to introduce the business to entirely cross-platform HTML5 video (nope, not just Brightcove).

It was a great experience, not just because I got to create the animation, too—but because it was for a non-for-profit with a good cause. If you’re curious, the Life Time Foundation is an organization aimed at healthy living—specifically providing healthy, balanced school lunches in elementary schools.

Recently, I did a freelance project for a movie project that (if produced) would chronicle the life of Vivian Carter—one of the famous co-founders of Vee-Jay Records. Have to admit, it’s amazing doing projects about things I’m legitimately interested in!

Objectified If you’re even slightly involved in the design industry and you haven’t watched Gary Hustwit’s Objectified, I recommend checking it out.
It’s an essential film for the design-minded.

360 Banner for the Nexus OneColorWare received some great press this week for the Nexus One and the Barnes & Noble nook!

I was also VERY excited to work out a spinning 360º banner without the use of flash.  This follows in the vein of a recent move by major sites toward fleshless HTML5, CSS3 & jQuery.

Update: The banner has come down from the main page, but I’ve created a 360º view for all product pages. Here’s an example!
